Medical Review Officer

Occuscreen offers a Medical Review Officer service for the clinical interpretation of drug testing results, to give employers confidence in making an employment decision based on the outcome of results. Occuscreen contracts with a Medical Review Company, providing professionally trained Medical Review Assistants who will contact the applicant to retrieve prescription (RX) information in a timely manner. The Medical Review Officers (MRO’s) reviewing the results (along with RX information and/or medical explanations) are licensed physicians (M.D.) who are experts in drug and alcohol testing and the application of federal regulations to the process. The MRO service is required for all federally mandated programs and included in the cost of the DOT drug screen. The MRO service can also be added to any of your non-DOT drug testing programs (where permitted by state law).

Laboratory Collection Sites

Occuscreen partners with SAMSHA-certified laboratories nationwide, providing access to an extensive network of over 9,500 collection sites across the United States. Our two largest networks for drug testing are through Quest Diagnostics and Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp), as well as contracted independent clinics across the country. If we do not have a contracted collection site in your area, we can identify a collection site in less than 48 hours.
